Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer/Lead to drive end-to-end security services across the APAC region within a global banking environment. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting secure network infrastructure, serving as a senior escalation point, and leading geographically distributed engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale network/DMZ environments, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong expertise in Firewall, IDS/IPS, Web Content Filtering, and Load Balancing technologies.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network security solutions (Fortinet, Check Point, Bluecoat, McAfee).
• Strong knowledge of network security, protocols, and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, HTTP(S), SSL, FTP, SOCKS).
• Experience with automation tools such as Python and Ansible.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, regulatory compliance, and global banking environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, Check Point, or Fortinet preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting secure network infrastructure, serving as a senior escalation point, and leading geographically distributed engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, engineering, deployment, and lifecycle management of security solutions.
• Implement and manage Firewalls(Fortinet, Check Point), IDS/IPS, Web Proxies(Bluecoat/McAfee), and Load Balancers.
• Ensure security controls, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards are embedded in all solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex network and web connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSL, FTP, PAC files, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with global engineering, operations, and information security teams to deliver critical infrastructure projects.
• Drive risk mitigation, operational excellence, capacity planning, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Lead and mentor engineers across APAC while providing executive-level updates and technical guidance.
