Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, high-availability network solutions for complex Air Traffic Management (ATM) and mission-critical systems.

The role will lead network engineering activities across project delivery, integration, testing, customer deployments, and technical leadership of small engineering teams. Note: successful candidates need to be comfortable with weekends and shift as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent Cisco certifications.
• 5+ years of network engineering experience in complex or mission-critical environments.
• Strong expertise in network architecture, routing, switching, and security.
• Hands-on with Cisco technologies and Linux/Unix environments.
• Scripting knowledge is advantageous; leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architectures, infrastructure solutions, and security-compliant configurations.
• Develop solution designs, network documentation, BOMs, and test procedures.
• Configure, validate, and deploy networking equipment in factory and customer environments.
• Support system integration, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architectures, infrastructure solutions, and security-compliant network configurations.
• Develop solution designs, network documentation, BOMs, test procedures, and integration artifacts.
• Configure, validate, and deploy networking equipment in factory and customer environments.
• Support system integration, troubleshooting, customer acceptance testing, and training activities.
• Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies and alternative solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, task prioritization, mentoring, and quality oversight for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to engineering standards and processes.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of network engineering experience in complex, software-centric or mission-critical environments.
• Strong expertise in network architecture, infrastructure design, routing, switching, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and Linux/Unix environments (Red Hat preferred).
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Perl, TCL/TK) is advantageous.
