Ideal candidates bring 10+ years' enterprise network experience, deep migration expertise, strong security hardening skills, and the ability to translate technical details for business stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in network switch migrations at enterprise scale.
- Strong command of network infrastructure and configuration.
- Proven track record in network security hardening.
- Working knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow/sFlow).
- Excellent documentation discipline and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Plan and design migration architecture and validation plans.
- Review switch hardware, software versions, licensing, and compatibility.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders during migration windows.
- Implement security hardening and disable unused ports/services.
- Configure monitoring platforms and alerting for post-migration operations.
- Execute pre-migration health checks and rollback procedures.
