Job summary

SMC CORPORATION (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced network professional to support current and future enterprise systems in Singapore. You will adhere to IT security policies, implement wired and wireless infrastructure, and optimize IT projects with a focus on reliability and performance.

The role requires strong routing knowledge (BGP, VLANs, STP) and familiarity with monitoring tools; willingness to travel and interact with partners is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or industry-leading certifications.
• 5+ years of enterprise network experience in large-scale environments.
• Experience with multi-protocol networks and OSI model.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools and performance reporting.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, VLANs, STP, and routing protocols.
• Willingness to travel internationally; Japanese language skills welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for current and future enterprise networks.
• Adhere to IT security policies, procedures, best practices and standards.
• Participate in and optimize IT infrastructure implementations, forecasting and maintenance.
• Design, plan, install, review and evaluate wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Coordinate with vendors to minimize downtime and ensure project success.
• Maintain accurate DNS and IP databases in coordination with IT teams.
• Provide network monitoring using various management tools.
• Assist with capacity planning and high availability requirements.
