Job summary

SMC CORPORATION (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a network engineer to support current and future enterprise systems and network infrastructure in Singapore. You will work on wired and wireless networks, ensure security and performance, and collaborate with multiple departments.

The role requires strong knowledge of BGP, VLANs, QoS and SD-WAN, with experience in large-scale networks. Travel may be required and Japanese language skills are welcome for interactions with clients or colleagues.

Qualifications

Experience in a large enterprise network environment.
Strong knowledge of OSI model and network hardware.
Proficient with BGP, VLANs, QoS, VPNs and SD-WAN.
Ability to travel internationally.
Japanese language skills welcome for client interaction.

Responsibilities

Provide support for current and future enterprise networks and IT infrastructure.
Design, plan, install, review and optimize wired and wireless network infrastructure.
Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize network performance and security.
Coordinate with vendors to minimize downtime and maintain equipment with current IOS levels.
Adhere to IT change and configuration management processes.
Maintain accurate DNS and IP address documentation.
