Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to manage IP infrastructure and regional load balancing across Asia. You will design and deploy large-scale networks, and support security domains while enabling automation initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 7–9 years in financial services, a IT/CS degree, and hands-on experience with F5, BlueCat, Cisco, VMware, and programming for automation.

Competenze

• 7–9 years of network engineering experience in banking/financial services.
• Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Deep design and hands-on knowledge of F5 Networks, BlueCat DNS/DHCP/NTP and DDI platforms.
• Strong background in Cisco Catalyst/Nexus and routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, Multicast).
• Proficiency in Python or C++ for infrastructure automation.

Job Description

• Core Responsibilities: Cover the day-to-day Business-As-Us-ual (BAU) activities for IP critical infrastructure and regional load balancing services across Asia.
• Automation & Innovation: Assist in adopting regional automation use cases devised by the global team, while actively identifying new automation opportunities to enhance productivity.
• Network Design & Implementation: Provide end-to-end network solution design and deployment for large-scale data networks and perimeter security domains.
• Virtualization Deployment: Deploy and manage virtual network appliances on underlying virtualization platforms such as VMWare ESX or NSX-T.
• Operational Availability: Support critical project maintenance, migrations, and deployments on weekends or public holidays as required.

Requirements

• Experience: Around 7 to 9 years of relevant network engineering experience, specifically within the banking and financial services industries.
• Education: Degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Load Balancing & DDI Expertise: Deep design, engineering, and hands-on knowledge of F5 Networks, VMWare AVI Load Balancing, and DDI platforms (specifically BlueCat DNS/DHCP/NTP solutions).
• Core Routing & Switching: Strong networking background with in-depth knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus product suites, alongside routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and Multicast.
• Automation & Development Skills: Practical programming experience in Python or C++ with a solid understanding of RESTful APIs for infrastructure automation.
• Professional Certifications: Possession of industry-recognized certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or F5-CTP is highly preferred.
• Security & Compliance: Strong grasp of network security best practices and financial regulatory requirements, with the ability to embed them into design philosophies.
• Other Skills: An analytical, independent, and self-motivated approach to solving complex infrastructure problems.
