Job summary

TEKsystems in Singapore seeks an experienced Network Security Engineer to join a high-performing team responsible for critical network services, load balancing platforms, and automation initiatives across a large-scale enterprise environment.

You will lead platform enhancement and migration activities, support business-as-usual operations, and contribute to the adoption of network automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications

• 7-9+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with load balancing technologies such as F5 Networks and VMware AVI/NSX ALB.
• Strong IP services knowledge including DNS, DHCP & NTP.
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.
• Knowledge of routing & switching protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Multicast.
• Experience with Cisco platforms (Catalyst/Nexus).
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware ESXi, NSX-T) and automation/scripts.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 7-9+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or related disciplines.
• Strong hands-on experience with load balancing technologies such as:
• F5 Networks
• VMware AVI / NSX Advanced Load Balancer
• Solid understanding of IP services, including DNS, DHCP & NTP
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Multicast technologies
• Experience with Cisco networking platforms, including Catalyst and Nexus solutions.
• Knowledge of network virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi and NSX-T.
• Exposure to automation technologies, scripting, and APIs
• Understanding of network security principles and best practices.

Desired Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, F5 Certified Technology Professional (F5-CTP), or equivalent.
• Experience with DDI platforms and enterprise DNS solutions.
• Exposure to network automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
