Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 support for critical network infrastructure incidents and service disruptions.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and fault isolation across LAN, WAN, Campus and Data Centre environments.
- Conduct detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Support day-to-day operations of switching, routing, security and network services.
- Troubleshoot network protocols including:
- BGP
- OSPF
- MPLS
- EVPN
- VXLAN
- Multicast (PIM/IGMP)
- HSRP/VRRP
- STP/RSTP/MST
- Analyze packet captures, system crashes, memory issues, high CPU conditions and network performance problems.
- Support software upgrades, maintenance activities and change implementations.
- Collaborate with internal infrastructure, security, application and data centre teams to resolve complex issues.
- Provide technical recommendations and best practices for network resiliency and operational efficiency.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations and technology refresh initiatives.
- Produce technical documentation, post-incident reports and operational runbooks.
- Support regulatory and audit requirements within a financial services environment.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on network engineering and network support experience.
- Strong expertise in core network troubleshooting within large-scale enterprise or mission-critical environments.
- Experience supporting high-severity network outages and driving incident restoration under strict SLA requirements.

Working Hours
This role operates within a 24x7 global banking support model and requires:
- Rotating shifts
- Night shifts
- Weekend coverage
- Public Holiday coverage
- On-call support when required
