Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking a skilled network engineer to spearhead end-to-end administration, configuration, and optimization of enterprise routing, switching, and firewall infrastructures. You will ensure reliability, high availability, and timely patch cycles in mission-critical environments.

You will handle tier-3 incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, and VPN, collaborating with systems engineering and cybersecurity teams to enforce

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in enterprise or mission-critical networks.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, VXLAN and enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Certs such as Cisco CCNP/CCNA, PCNSE or equivalent.
• Understanding of secure infrastructure practices, network monitoring, and SOPs.
• Holding a Singapore CAT 1 / Enhanced security clearance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end administration, configuration, and optimization of routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure.
• Oversee architecture reliability, high availability, and patch cycles in mission-critical environments.
• Perform tier-3 incident resolution, RCA, and performance troubleshooting on LAN/WAN/VPN.
• Collaborate with systems engineering and cybersecurity teams to implement defense-in-depth and align with security baselines.
• Support project lifecycles from validation/design through deployment, migration, and vendor management.
