Job summary

es recruitment pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer / Network Lead for a major infrastructure program in Singapore. You will own the enterprise network and lead a team of engineers across the full lifecycle from design to run, across client sites at Lavender & Kallang.

The role requires CCNP, 8+ years in enterprise networks, and strong ITIL/ITSM knowledge. Expect a 1-year renewable contract with office hours and potential growth through regional projects.

Qualifications

• CCNP certification is required.
• Min 8+ years in enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience leading or supervising a team of Network Engineers.
• Strong experience in enterprise network infrastructure, implementation and operations.
• Proven experience in network troubleshooting, incident management and root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes and service management practices.
• Ability to translate business/application requirements into practical infrastructure solutions.
• Strong documentation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with regional, multi-country or large enterprise environments will be advantageous.
• Relevant vendor certifications and exposure to vendor partnership requirements are highly desirable.
• Candidates must be able to obtain Cat 2 security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Gather business and application requirements to plan, design, install, test and implement network infrastructure.
• Ensure infrastructure solutions meet technical specifications, service levels and business requirements.
• Apply and enhance ITSM/ITIL practices covering Change, Incident, Problem, Release Management and CMDB.
• Proactively monitor network performance, availability and service levels, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide temporary or permanent resolutions.
• Coordinate incident updates and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
• Implement service continuity measures, including backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery plans.
• Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, architecture and operational records.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals, solution designs and presentations.
• Lead and mentor a team of Network Engineers, providing technical direction and ensuring operational effectiveness.
• Evaluate internal and external business environments to develop longer-term strategies for the network function.
• Apply business and financial knowledge to support technology decisions and resolve business issues.
• Work across multiple countries/regions and coordinate with broader global IT teams.
• Work towards and maintain key vendor certifications to support strategic technology partnerships.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer /Network Lead to join a major infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong network professional who can take ownership of enterprise network infrastructure while leading a team of Network Engineers.

You will be involved across the full infrastructure lifecycle — from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, operations, incident management and continuous improvement.
