Job summary

HEWLETT-PACKARD ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Architect to lead Networking Infrastructure initiatives across APAC. You will collaborate with Sales, PM and Engineering to drive technical sales for forward-looking technologies and complex deals.

The role requires deep expertise in JUNOS, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN and SDN/NFV, with a track record of delivering architecture across core, edge and data center networks. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive pre-sales experience selling high-end networking equipment; strong communication skills.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• 15+ years in Service Provider WAN Infrastructure, IP routing, and Ethernet switching.
• Advanced degree in technology.
• Ability to communicate with C-level executives and technical decision-makers.
• Expert knowledge in IP/MPLS based networks, EVPN/VXLAN, DCI concepts.
• Experience with HPE Networking products and SDN/NFV environments.
• Familiarity with APIs, Postman, JSON, Python.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to articulate the value of Routing Infrastructure solutions.
• Lead end-to-end Networking Infrastructure architecture to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Specialists, Engineering and Product Management on complex deals.
• Provide HW/SW configuration insights and best practices for projects.
• Develop partnerships with Integrators and key partners to solve complex problems.
• Deliver compelling Demos and PoCs and articulate value propositions.
• Translate customer objectives into technical requirements for internal features.
• Shape solutions across the product portfolio with CAPEX, SaaS and IaaS options.
