Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking an experienced .NET professional to lead modernization efforts from the .NET Framework to the latest releases. You will act as a technical authority, mentor a development team, and own SQL Server design, security, and performance while working in an Azure-based environment.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on .NET development, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, and a strong command of SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years’ hands‑on experience in .NET application development and maintenance.
• Solid expertise in .NET coding (4.8 mandatory and core).
• Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and related technologies.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server and stored procedures (mandatory).
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and 360-degree thinking skills.
• Proven ability to lead, guide, and develop technical teams.
• Experience in Azure development environments.
• Microsoft/Azure certifications.
• Experience with AI technologies, cloud security, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization: plan and execute evolution of applications from legacy .NET Framework to latest .NET releases.
• Be the Technical Authority: champion deep hands‑on expertise in classic and modern .NET technologies.
• Solid .NET coding: demonstrate outstanding .NET coding skills (4.8 mandatory and core).
• Master SQL Server: design and optimise stored procedures, manage databases, improve performance, ensure security.
• Troubleshooting & problem solving: tackle complex technical challenges with a 360‑degree perspective.
• Performance & security: drive application performance, optimisation, and security management.
• Grow into leadership: progress toward broader technology leadership roles.
• Build an invincible team: mentor and inspire a high‑performing development team.
