Job summary

JOBEE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced inspector to lead QA for piping/equipment repairs, performing NDT and ensuring compliance with ASME/API codes. The role includes reviewing procedures, generating detailed inspection reports, and mentoring junior inspectors.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in oil/petrochemical inspections, familiarity with welding processes and piping materials, and the ability to liaise across contractors, maintenance, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in a related field with at least 4 years of inspection experience in oil/petrochemical industries.
• Ability to QA piping/equipment repairs and liaise with contractor, maintenance & operation personnel.
• Proficient in NDT techniques: radiography, UT, PT, MPI.
• Capable of reviewing working procedures and ITP.
• Good knowledge of pressure equipment and piping codes such as ASME/API and welding processes.
• Knowledge of refinery piping materials and damage mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to ensure acceptance criteria of codes, standards or documents are met.
• Interpret regulations, codes and industry standards.
• Perform NDT as required by the job assignment.
• Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Recommend and approve repairs; perform visual inspection of completed work.
• Write detailed inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Submit inspection reports and inter-office communications timely.
• Maintain positive relationships with client, facility, customer and coworkers.
• Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors.
• Complete required training/tests within company guidelines.
• Prepare risk assessments before work and ensure safety policies are followed.
