Job summary

JOBEE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Inspector for oil and petrochemical facilities in Singapore. The role focuses on QA of piping and equipment repairs, performing NDT, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma with at least 4 years of inspection experience, and can liaise with contractors and operations teams while maintaining thorough documentation and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma with at least 4 years of oil/petrochemical inspection experience.
• QA of piping/equipment repairs; liaise with contractors and operations teams.
• Knowledge of NDT methods (radiography, UT, PT, MPI).
• Familiar with piping/equipment codes and welding processes.
• Understand materials and damage mechanisms in refinery environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to confirm acceptance criteria of the applicable code or standard.
• Interpret regulations, codes and industry standards.
• Carry out NDT as required by assignments.
• Maintain equipment and ensure good working condition.
• Write detailed inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Submit reports timely and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Provide training to junior inspectors.
• Complete required training and safety tests.
• Prepare risk assessments before work and enforce safety policies.
