Job summary

The role requires a PhD in Materials Science, Chemical/Microelectronic Engineering or Chemistry and at least 1 year of R&D experience, along with strong data analysis and DoE skills.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of R&D experience.
• Strong understanding of chemistry, kinetics, thermodynamics and mass transport.
• Solid data analysis skills and ability to use DoE.
• Excellent communication, both written and spoken.
• Self-motivated and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize unit processes for advanced NAND parts.
• Quantify benefits of process/equipment solutions for margin improvement.
• Prioritize TD issues within Singapore-based Wet Etch team.
• Collaborate with Boise TD and manufacturing for technology choices.
• Lead experiments to widen process margins and test manufacturability.
• Incorporate best manufacturing methods into early development of nodes.
• Design and implement advanced process monitoring and control methods.
