Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly capable engineer to develop and optimize unit processes for NAND manufacturing in Singapore. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve yield, quality, and manufacturability across upcoming nodes.

The role requires strong chemistry knowledge, DOEs, data analysis, and experience with analysis techniques such as SIMS/XPS/EDX/SEM-TEM/FTIR. Global collaboration and IP-driven projects are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Masters/PhD graduates in Chemistry, Materials Science or Chemical/Microelectronic Engineering are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize unit processes to meet yield and quality requirements.
• Quantify benefits of innovative process/equipment solutions to enable early experimentation and margin improvement.
• Integrate and troubleshoot processes within cross-functional teams to drive yield and quality improvements.
• Perform fundamental research, hardware evaluations, and testing for novel applications and IP generation.
• Initiate experiments to widen process margins and test manufacturability of next node solutions.
• Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements and best manufacturing practices.
• Design and implement advanced process monitoring and control methodologies.
• Serve as a technical expert contributing to projects for process/procedure/equipment improvements.
• Communicate with local and global partners; adhere to IP protection policies.
