Job summary

The Environmental Health Institute (EHI), a research arm of the National Environment Agency (NEA), seeks a self-driven laboratory analyst to augment research and surveillance programmes in Singapore.

You will join the diagnostic team providing early diagnosis of vector-borne diseases, and participate in quality management initiatives and research projects, including work with risk group 3 pathogens and protocol development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences, Biology or related disciplines with at least 5 years of experience in molecular biology techniques.
• Experience in handling risk groups and working with pathogen protocols.
• Good analytical mind and systematic in planning.

Responsibilities

• Part of the diagnostic team providing early diagnosis of vector-borne diseases.
• Participate in quality management initiatives and research projects.
• Involvement in risk assessment and development of protocols for risk group 2/3 pathogens.
