Job summary

Public Service Division seeks a self-driven candidate to support research and surveillance at the Environmental Health Institute in Singapore. The role involves multidisciplinary teamwork, field and lab tasks, and data management to translate findings into public health programmes and policies.

You will engage in entomology-focused fieldwork, mosquito identification, sample processing, data entry and analyses, and logistical preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related disciplines.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in entomology or related life science areas.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to systematically perform routine workflow with an eye for detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in scientific writing, reporting and communications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine fieldwork and laboratory tasks to support evidence-based research.
• Perform vector surveillance and lab studies, mosquito identification, sample processing.
• Enter data, analyze results, and contribute to preparation and maintenance of logistics.
