Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd (VSMC) in Singapore is seeking a committed Module Associate Engineer to maintain and optimize 300mm toolsets across diffusion, etch, photolithography, and related modules.

You will diagnose failures, implement solutions to meet uptime and cycle-time targets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment that values resilience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or STEM-related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Module Associate Engineer.
• Experience in a 12'' (300mm) fab environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle on-duty tasks and alarm troubleshooting; identify root cause and resolve critical equipment issues.
• Execute tool handovers and maintenance reporting per cleanroom standards.
• Operate and maintain tools; collaborate with engineering teams to improve tool performance and availability.
• Manage spare part inventory and coordinate with vendors or contractors for parts replacement and support.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced 300mm semiconductor tools for the module process.
• Operate in a rotating shift pattern (day/night), including weekends and holidays, in a 24/7 fab environment.

Role Summary

You will be responsible and focused on improving tool performance and availability, in charge of maintenance, diagnosing failures and implementing effective solutions to meet uptime and cycle time requirements in the specific module (Diffusion, Etch (Dry & WET), Photolithography, Metrology, Physical Vapor Deposition, Thin Film - Chemical Vapor Deposition or Chemical Mechanical Planarization).

Key Responsibilities

• Handle on-duty tasks and conduct fundamental alarm troubleshooting; identify root cause and problem-solve critical equipment issues with urgency.
• Execute tool handovers and maintenance reporting per cleanroom standards.
• Operate and maintain tools, collaborate with engineering teams to improve tool performance and availability.
• Manage spare part inventory and coordinate with vendors or contractors for parts replacement and technical support.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced 300mm semiconductor tools for specific module process.

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences
