Job summary

Airwallex, Singapore-based, is seeking an experienced ML Platform Engineer to build and scale the risk decisioning infrastructure that powers real-time fraud and risk scoring. You will design and productionise ML workflows, collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and product managers, and help scale a high-velocity platform across time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years focused on model training infra or serving.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or JAX.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java or C++.
• Experience with distributed orchestration and workflow tools like Kubernetes, Ray, Kubeflow Pipelines, Airflow.
• Solid understanding of GPUs and GPU-based training/inference optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the ML risk decisioning platform powering Airwallex risk decisions.
• Design reliable data and model infrastructure for production ML workflows.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, product managers, and risk specialists.
• Operate across a global team and adapt to multiple time zones and locations.
