Job summary

CTCI Singapore Pte. Ltd. invites an experienced MEP Construction Lead to oversee major EPC projects in Singapore. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning, and ensure field execution aligns with drawings and specs.

The role demands strong leadership, Mandarin-English fluency, and a track record in high-specification environments like semiconductor or industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant MEP, EPC, or construction project experience.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin liaison with subcontractors/vendors.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Proven leadership and on-site coordination skills.
• Safety awareness with knowledge of MOM regulations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee MEP construction activities for the assigned EPC project and work areas.
• Coordinate multiple MEP disciplines, subcontractors, and site construction teams to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams throughout project execution.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction documents to ensure proper site execution.
• Plan and monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and construction activities in accordance with the approved project schedule.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, process, and other specialist systems.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, productivity, and construction progress.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and system handover.
• Identify and resolve technical, interface, and constructability issues in coordination with the relevant project teams.
• Monitor punch-list items, defects, and outstanding works through to completion.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, consultants, client representatives, and subcontractors on MEP construction matters.
• Ensure all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
