Job summary

A-STAR Testing & Inspection (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to lead site supervision for major building and utilities projects in Singapore.

You will oversee works, ensure quality, safety and schedule adherence, and report to CLIENT, QP, and project consultants. You will coordinate MEP interfaces, manage progress documentation, and coach site staff with strong leadership and organizational skills to resolve interfacing issues and deliver successful

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a mechanical and electrical engineer, of which at least 5 years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to the Works, i.e. in particular major construction works in buildings or utilities services laying and testing and commissioning.
• Possess a Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Lead MCE site staff to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CLIENT, QP (MEP and/or the project consultants and FUI owners. He must possess good leadership qualities, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report.
• Possess strong supervision and leadership skills.
• Proficient in coordination of MEP interfaces and experience in maintaining interface registers and evidence logs in support of resolving integration and interfacing issues.

Responsibilities
