Job summary

UNIVERZ HR CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an MEP Engineer to oversee all mechanical and electrical engineering activities, processes, and procurement for projects in Singapore.

The role entails planning, programming, monitoring, and coordination with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure on-time completion and compliance with safety and quality standards. The candidate should have a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years’ experience in Singapore’s

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience related to projects in Singapore building and construction industry.
• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering experience in high-end villas.
• Possess strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experiences.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with site teams to execute work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, program and monitor M&E works and oversee the project.
• Monitor and report progress to manager.
• Control RFA, RFI, shop drawings, technical submissions and procurement/ fabrication/delivery status for on-time completion.
• Coordinate with client representatives, consultants and subcontractors on technical matters and submissions.
• Ensure M&E projects align with company policies and quality standards.
• Carry out inspections of M&E works prior to concreting or subsequent construction works.
• Assist in supervising and coordinating M&E services with other departments.
• Participate in project review meetings, site meetings and design meetings.
• Lead M&E technical meetings and resolve issues with records.
• Coordinate M&E drawing production and quality of service drawings.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections and manage RE, RTO; clear QA/QC inspections to meet construction schedule.
• Ensure quality of MEP workmanship and safety/environmental requirements.
• Carry out all site inspections and ensure M&E works are in order.
