in Singapore seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform a broad range of tests across molecular biology, biochemistry, haematology, immunology, serology and microbiology under the guidance of the Laboratory Manager. The role covers pre-analytical and analytical work, instrument maintenance, technical validation, and inventory management, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting to clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Set up, calibrate, maintain, operate, and shut down analytical instruments.
• Perform procedures per SOPs and ensure safety compliance.
• Report and verify critical values to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain Laboratory Information System (LIS) competence.
• Contribute to quality improvement and timely testing.
• Perform phlebotomy and onsite screening support as needed.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by the Laboratory Manager.
