Job summary

PVH Singapore invites applications for a Senior Medical Technologist to support laboratory operations across Biochemistry, Haematology, Immunology, Serology, Molecular Diagnostics and Microbiology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent required.
• Minimum 7 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform, validate, and troubleshoot laboratory tests and analytical instruments.
• Maintain SOP compliance, safety standards, and accurate reporting (incl. critical values).
• Train, guide, and orientate junior staff.
• Support quality assurance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with workflow optimisation, specimen protocols, and LIS operations.
• Participate in regulatory and accreditation audits (MOH, CAP).
• Any other duties as assigned by Laboratory Manager.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We invite applications from experienced Senior Medical Technologists to support laboratory operations across disciplines such as Biochemistry, Haematology, Immunology, Serology, Molecular Diagnostics, and Microbiology. You will perform complex testing, support quality systems, supervise junior staff, and ensure smooth daily operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform, validate, and troubleshoot laboratory tests and analytical instruments
• Maintain SOP compliance, safety standards, and accurate reporting (incl. critical values)
• Train, guide, and orientate junior staff
• Support quality assurance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with workflow optimisation, specimen protocols, and LIS operations
• Participate in regulatory and accreditation audits (MOH, CAP)
• Any other duties as assigned by Laboratory Manager.

Section Leader Responsibilities (when appointed)

• Lead day-to-day operations of the assigned laboratory section
• Ensure quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
• Develop and maintain section SOPs and workflows
• Oversee inventory, equipment performance, and vendor coordination
• Support staff training, competency, and team performance
• Lead evaluation and validation of new tests
• Coordinate section‑related audits and accreditation activities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Strong technical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
