Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in mechanical engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience, with 3 years in supervision.
• Hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, gearboxes) and static equipment (heat exchangers, boilers, vessels, tanks, piping).
• Familiar with regulatory requirements and statutory compliance; able to use computerised maintenance programs for planning, reporting and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, review and execute preventive/condition monitoring programs to improve reliability.
• Monitor asset life expectancy and identify inefficiencies for improvement.
• Lead plant engineering projects and plant overhauls to achieve cost-effective outcomes.
• Provide training and technical support to operations and maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations and standards.
