Job summary

PacificLight Energy Pte Ltd on Jurong Island is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to carry out routine and targeted maintenance per plans and to support plant operations. You will monitor on-site contractors, contribute to asset maintenance planning and document all activities to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operation.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years’ experience in power plants or related industries, with hands-on rotating and static equipment

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in Power Plants or related industries.
Knowledge of plant processes and operations.
Hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of rotating equipment and static equipment.

Responsibilities

Carrying out routine and defect-based maintenance duties per maintenance plans.
Assist with monitoring contractors on site.
Contribute to development of asset maintenance plans.
Document maintenance jobs properly.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and codes of practice.
Identify, plan and procure spares for reliability within budget.
Support plant operation safely and efficiently to meet output targets.
Ensure assets operate and maintain performance requirements, supporting Operations and Maintenance.
Assist in adhering to maintenance guidelines.
