Job summary

Rolls-Royce Solutions Asia PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Senior Engineer, Mechanical to provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, commissioning, maintenance, and project execution for MTU engines and related systems across marine and power generation applications.

The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on experience, a degree or diploma in mechanical/marine engineering, and strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Local and regional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Marine, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, power generation systems, or marine propulsion equipment.
• Excellent communication, customer engagement, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of MTU engines and associated systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using structured problem-solving approaches.
• Execute field service and project activities safely, efficiently, and per technical standards.
• Support customers with technical expertise and recommendations to optimize equipment performance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and engineering documentation.
• Manage site activities and ensure timely completion of service assignments and projects.
• Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and project updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve service processes, product reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring when required.
