Job summary

ROLLS-ROYCE SOLUTIONS ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Service Technician (Marine/Diesel Engine) in Tukang, Singapore (West).

The role involves hands-on service and support for MTU electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems at customer sites and in-house facilities. You will lead installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, while documenting actions and ensuring safety compliance under WSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering or any relevant Engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in a service or maintenance engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair/overhaul of MTU engines and equipment at customer locations or in the workshop.
• Independently manage field service jobs in accordance with work orders, ensuring quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct system acceptance tests with customers or their representatives, including performance verification and documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical or system‑related issues efficiently and accurately.
• Provide timely and detailed technical service reports, including investigation summaries and corrective actions taken.
• Submit travel and job completion reports to document project milestones and service outcomes.
