Job summary

GovTech is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support maintenance and reliability of mechanical systems. The role involves on-site work at Singapore facilities and collaboration with vendors and internal teams to ensure uptime and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute maintenance activities on mechanical equipment to ensure reliability and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment and system malfunctions on site and develop corrective action plans.
• Plan, design and call tenders related to mechanical equipment maintenance, upgrades and capex projects.
• Manage and implement contracts to ensure works meet objectives and budget.
• Maintain mechanical equipment assets and spare parts inventory using the AMS; collaborate with departments, consultants and contractors.
