Job summary

You will coordinate stakeholders and oversee on-site mechanical installation, testing and commissioning to meet project timelines. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency in AutoCAD/Plant 3D/SolidWorks, with safety certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• WSQ or MOM-recognized safety certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, SolidWorks or equivalent software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with design documents, drawings and technical calculations.
• Manage stakeholders during project execution and coordinate activities.
• Evaluate mechanical layouts, equipment sizing and ensure local code compliance.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers and regulators.
• Oversee mechanical installation, testing and commissioning at site.
• Conduct procurement evaluations and equipment recommendations.
• Manage change requests and resolve site issues during construction.
• Lead supervisors and workers through installation, testing and commissioning.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by Project Manager.
