Job summary

Adaptive Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and optimize core mechanical modules for semiconductor equipment, including bond heads and precision motion stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or related fields.
• 3–5 years of mechanical design and development experience for complex equipment.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment design is preferred.
• Proficient with SolidWorks/Creo/UG and AutoCAD for 2D drawings.
• Proficient with FEA using ANSYS Workbench.

Responsibilities

• Module design and development for mechanical assemblies including bonds heads and precision stages.
• Perform CAE simulations (static, modal, thermal, kinematic) with ANSYS Workbench.
• Oversee prototype machining, assembly guidance, and testing; optimize bonding equipment.
• Apply DFMA principles and coordinate with manufacturing for safe assembly.
• Prepare design documentation (FMEA, error budgets, guidelines) ensuring EH&S compliance.
