Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop components for semiconductor and industrial equipment. You will create 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings, and perform design calculations and tolerance analyses.

You will collaborate with electrical, controls and manufacturing teams to deliver machine solutions, support prototype builds, testing and fabrication, and prepare engineering documentation and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of mechanical design experience in industrial equipment, automation or semiconductor machinery.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor or similar 3D CAD software.
• Experience in machine design, mechanisms, precision components and fabrication.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up and engineering drawings.
• Semiconductor equipment / automation experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for semiconductor / industrial equipment.
• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies and 2D engineering drawings.
• Perform design calculations, material selection and tolerance analysis.
• Work closely with electrical, controls and manufacturing teams to develop machine solutions.
• Support prototype build, testing, troubleshooting and design improvements.
• Liaise with suppliers and support fabrication, assembly and installation.
• Prepare engineering documentation, BOM and technical specifications.
