Job summary

Applied Angstrom Technology Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Equipment Engineer to design and test mechanical components and submodules of new semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will collaborate with senior engineers through brainstorming, concept feasibility, 3D modeling and prototyping, and frequent supplier interfacing to ensure parts are manufactured to spec.

The role requires a BS in equipment engineering or related field, 3–5 years of mechanical design and hands-on

Qualifications

BS minimum, Master preferred in Equipment Engineering or related field.
3–5 years mechanical design and hands-on testing experience.
Experience in semiconductor industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Translate concept to practical design with minimal guidance.
3D modeling of complex parts and assemblies using software.
Create detailed drawings from 3D models and apply GD&T.
Interface with suppliers to ensure smooth manufacturing.
Define and perform engineering tests for design validation.
Own and document engineering changes and version controls.
Create and present documents and reports to colleagues and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with Materials program manager to source parts.
Communicate with suppliers to solve manufacturing problems.
Perform root cause analysis and FMECA, implement improvements.
