Job summary

World Farm, Singapore’s leading wholesale and retail garden centre, is seeking a Senior Marketing Executive / Assistant Marketing Manager to lead digital campaigns, brand development, and stakeholder engagement. This hands-on role offers growth as we expand into casual retail.

You will manage Google Ads, social media, content creation, and marketing collateral, mentor a small team, and coordinate with operations and vendors to deliver measurable growth in revenue, membership, and online sales.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of marketing experience in retail, FMCG, or F&B.
  • Experience with team leadership and vendor management.

Responsibilities

Senior Marketing Executive / Assistant Marketing Manager

As we expand our reach into the casual retail market, we’re looking for a dynamic and creative marketing professional to lead impactful campaigns, manage stakeholders, and contribute to our brand evolution.

This role is perfect for a hands‑on, strategic marketer ready to take on more responsibilities, mentor a team, and drive measurable growth.

Job Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Develop and oversee digital marketing strategies that align with the brand’s strategic direction and support various business units.
  • Manage the digital presence of all business units, including content creation, curation, and regular updates.
  • Ensure websites and digital assets are optimised using SEO & AEO best practices.
  • Plan, execute, and analyse social media and online campaigns, including Google Ads and social media advertisements, to maximise ROMI.

Marketing Campaigns

  • Plan, develop, and execute marketing strategies to:
  • Boost revenue and average spend.
  • Increase membership and grow in‑store and e‑commerce sales.
  • Grow growth awareness and craft a brand identity unique to World Farm.
  • Monitor and report campaign progress, evaluating effectiveness to guide adjustments.
  • Collaborate with operations, customer service, procurement, external vendors, and stakeholders to develop integrated marketing plans.
  • Conduct market and consumer research to understand trends, brand awareness, and competitive positioning, using insights to refine strategies.

Branding and Content Creation

  • Oversee the creation and installation of marketing collateral, including in‑store and out‑of‑home (OOH) materials, brochures, posters, and website content, ensuring O2O cohesiveness.
  • Write compelling copy for diverse marketing needs and lead creative ideation for campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Community Engagement and Events

  • Organise and execute events, promotional activities, and product launches to increase engagement and footfall.
  • Liaise with strategic partners, sponsors, and vendors to enhance brand visibility.
  • Develop strategies to engage the membership base and build loyalty through campaigns and activations.
  • Support influencer and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) campaigns to amplify reach.

Team and Vendor Management

  • Supervise and mentor a small team (in‑house, freelance, and agency) while managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with overall business goals.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 4–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the retail, FMCG, or F&B industries, with a proven track record in campaign development and management.
  • Experience with team leadership and vendor management is essential.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategic planning, and current best practices.
  • Good grasp on marketing for the AI age.
  • Familiar with both B2B and B2C product and services marketing.
  • Skilled in managing Google Ads campaigns and social media marketing.
  • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a knack for copywriting and proofreading.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to manage tasks without strict supervision.
  • Passion for sustainability and green living; interest in plants or landscaping is a plus.
  • Photography, videography, and post‑production editing skills are advantageous but not strictly required.
