Job summary

Abaxx Exchange is expanding its Market Regulation Team to oversee membership onboarding, member supervision, market surveillance and regulatory compliance across the Exchange and Clearing House.

The role emphasizes implementing policies, conducting due diligence on new applicants, and supporting disciplinary and enforcement processes, with collaboration across Operations, Technology and Risk teams and MAS.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies and procedures under Market Regulation.
• Conduct due diligence on new membership applicants and prepare approval memos.
• Review member submissions and notifications; conduct on-site inspections.
• Monitor market surveillance alerts and refine surveillance processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; perform training and advisory activities.
• Liaise with Operations/Technology/Risk, members and MAS.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Regulatory Officer.
