Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Fleet Operations Manager to ensure vessel compliance with maritime regulations, coordinate inspections and surveys, and lead crew selection, onboarding and training.

The role emphasizes safety, environmental stewardship and efficient cargo operations. The successful candidate will promote safe procedures, monitor navigational safety and vessel performance, and support voyage planning while collaborating with crews, authorities and shore teams

Qualifications

• Certificate of competency to Class 2 or above (Deck) recognised by MPA Singapore.
• At least 5 years of experience in fleet operations, preferably in a supervisory/managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessel compliance with maritime regulations, statutory requirements and international standards.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, vetting and regulatory surveys, including follow-up on corrective actions.
• Manage crew selection, interviews, onboarding, training and competency development.
• Promote implementation of safety, environmental and operational procedures.
• Monitor navigational safety, cargo operations, pollution prevention and vessel performance.
• Support voyage planning and operational efficiency, including resource and cargo utilisation.
• Conduct safety inspections and support incident investigations, audits and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with vessel crews, authorities, classification societies and shore-based teams to ensure safe, compliant and efficient operations.
