Job summary

Albion Marine Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation Engineer to support marine and offshore projects.

You will inspect vessels, commission electrical systems, and troubleshoot automation while coordinating with management on project execution and client interfaces. The role requires a degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation Engineering or equivalent, plus advanced certifications in electrical safety, PLCs, and automation.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation Engineering or equivalent.
Electrician Engineer Certification is required.
Arc Flash & High Voltage Safety Engineer Certification is required.
Programmable Logic Controller Technician Certification is required.
Certified Automation Professional Certification is required.
Advance Marine Electrical Technician Certification is required.

Responsibilities

Attend vessels for inspections, commissioning, surveys and troubleshooting of automation and electrical systems.
Deliberate with management on requirements and procedures for project execution.
Organize and manage EIA projects toward fulfillment of objectives.
Provide EIA expertise to produce concept and detail designs for Marine/Ship/Offshore projects.
Prepare Electrical Load Balance Calculations, Single Line Diagrams, Short Circuit Calculations.
Provide selection of components like transformers, rectifiers, UPS, breakers, batteries, cables.
Develop Instrument list, I/O list, systems schematics, control philosophy, narratives, block diagrams.
Carry out troubleshooting and programming of Programmable Logic Controllers.
Prepare Cause and Effect diagrams, Control/Safety Narrative, and Logic Diagrams.
Interface with other discipline engineers, clients, equipment suppliers and class authorities.
