Job summary

OceanMaster Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Marine Electrical Engineer to lead daily job assignments, perform inspections, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance across electrical, PLC, BMS/SCADA, HMI and A/C systems.

The role requires 5+ years in marine electrical work and 3+ years in instrumentation and PLC handling, with strong English communication and technical writing skills. Leadership and independent work ability are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 5 years experience in Marine Electrical field.
Minimum 3 years experience in Instrumentations and PLC handling and installation.
Proficient in Electrical, instrumentation and/or Electronics troubleshooting.
Proficient in written and oral English communication skill.
Proficient in material take off and labour estimate for a given Electrical project.
Proficient on electrical circuit diagram design.
Good knowledge on ladder logic programming.
Good grasp on technical writing.
Good leadership, coaching and analytical skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge on Project Schedule Software or Autocad is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Report to Head of the Department for daily job assignments.
Carry out inspection, installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting for the assigned jobs, including Electrical works, PLC Controllers/Modules, BMS/SCADA, HMI, A/C Works.
Provide internal & external trainings on electrical controls, troubleshooting, PLC programming, control panel assembly and basic electrical theory.
Produce PTRs for assigned jobs.
Communicate with customers and OceanMaster PIC about issues, status, progress and recommendations.
Submit Timesheets, Work Reports, Commissioning Checklists and Customer Satisfaction Surveys on completion.
Produce Close-Out Report after job completion.
Comply with OceanMaster quality, environment, health & safety policies.
Adhere to no wastage of materials and labour for assigned jobs.
Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
