Job summary

Korean Register Singapore Branch is seeking an intermediate to advanced Surveyor to inspect vessels and marine structures to ensure classification compliance with KR standards and applicable safety/desalination requirements. The role includes coordinating surveys, preparing reports, and liaising with clients and headquarters as needed.

This is considered an intermediate to advance level Surveyorposition. Primary function is to examine and report on vessels and othermarine structures during and after construction relative to compliance with theapplicable requirements for maintaining the vessel in Classification with KRand meeting asociated statutory and special service requirements related toSafety of Life at Sea, Loadline, Tonnage, Cargo Gear and Pollution PreventinCertification.

Job Description:

1. Performing routine surveys on classed vessels, marinestructures and at manufacturers for classification and compliance withstatutory requirements.
2. Performing quotation consult for relevantClassification as well as inspection and audit fees.
3. Preparing technically accurate and timely reports ofinspections and audit performed.
4. Engaging in contact with clients to resolve problems withinarea of expertise.
5. Planning, scheduling and coordinating various phases ofsurveying work and monitoring the quality of service on work performed.
6. Providing leadership, guidance and training to lower leveland/or on work performed.
7. Promoting the services and capabilities of KR to present andpotential customers.
8. Liaisoning with Headquarter for the clients' needs when needed.
9. LNG survey/New Building and LNG sailing experence ispreferable.
