Job summary

Rockwell Automation Asia Pacific Business Center Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Test Engineer to support NPI, legacy test equipment, and production testing of PCBAs, final assemblies, and larger systems.

You will work with global and local plant teams to optimize test equipment for manufacturability in Singapore, reporting to Manager, Production Validation & Test. The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, standardized work, calibration scheduling, and system debugging across C, C++, C#, NI TestStand, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years as a test engineer contributor in a team environment with test equipment for production/testing.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, BOMs, and design specs.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%, possibly internationally.

Responsibilities

• Implement continuous improvement, error proofing, ergonomics, yield and lean programs for test equipment and processes.
• Develop standardized work, documentation, and operator training for test processes.
• Demonstrate Lean Six Sigma tools for test equipment qualification and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Debug, modify, and troubleshoot software across multiple languages (C, C++, C#, NI TestStand, Visual Basic, PLC).
• Provide manufacturing technical support and assist with preventive maintenance and spare parts inventory.
