Thermo Fisher Scientific in Singapore is hiring for an Assembly Technician/Associate Technician. You will assemble products per written instructions, participate in Lean and continuous improvement, and maintain ISO9001 and cGMP documentation.
You will also ensure housekeeping and safety standards, and collaborate with supervisors to optimize quality and efficiency. You will train and certify technicians on assembly, initiate and close batch records, and generate production reports using Oracle.
Standard (Mon-Fri)
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift

The incumbent will perform various tasks and activities listed below for which they are appropriately trained and are in compliance with the cGMP, company and department SOPs and the safety regulations.
Assembly of product with specific written instructions, blueprints and drawings
Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities
Maintain ISO9001 and cGMP documentation practices to ensure conformity.
Maintain and upkeep the housekeeping and safety standards in the workplace.
Work with Supervisor and Engineers to ensure that quality, waste and efficiency are meeting requirements
Execute improvement activities on quality and work process efficiency
Train & certify Technicians/ Associate Technicians on product assembly
Initiate and close Batch records, review accuracy of data on production documents
Work within Oracle system generating reports and making transactions
Minimum “O” Level, NITEC/ITE education/Diploma in relevant field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences in pharmaceutical industry or 3 to 5 years of working experience in any industry.
Good understanding of safe working practices and cGMP.
Highly motivated to work in pharmaceutical Industry.
Able to work as a team.
