Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Marsiling, Singapore, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assemble and test products on the onsite production line. You will work with Supervisors and Engineers to ensure quality, waste, and efficiency standards are met, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements while maintaining ISO documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or lab settings, and preferred cGMP and Mass

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field.
• Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment.
• Preferred: Experience in Mass Spectrometry.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test the product to ensure all required specifications are met.
• Collaborate with Supervisor and Engineers to ensure quality, waste and efficiency requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot faulty products or parts to ensure specifications are met.
• Execute improvement activities on quality and work process efficiency.
• Maintain ISO9001, MDSAP, ISO14001, ISO13485, QSR21CFR Part 820 and ISO45001 documentation to ensure conformity; uphold housekeeping and safety standards.
• Train Technicians/ Associate Technicians, Manufacturing on product assembly and testing.

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.)

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Required: Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
• Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
• Preferred: Experience in Mass Spectrometry

Competencies preferred:

• Equipment troubleshooting skills
• Understand ISO requirements
• Coaching skills for On-the-Job Training

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

• Manufacturing production line - Fully onsite
• Physically fit to lift objects up to 10kg when required
