Job summary

Seagate Manufacturing SG Pte. Ltd. in Woodlands, Singapore, seeks a Senior Operator/Line Leader to oversee the production line, manage setup, run tests, and drive on‑the‑job training for new and existing operators.

You will work with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to resolve issues, support process improvements, and perform packing, labeling, and material handling in a high‑volume backend manufacturing environment. Weekends and 12‑hour shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Back-End manufacturing is desirable.
• Experience as a senior operator, trainer, line leader or cell lead is preferred.
• Minimum > 6 years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production processes and teams with higher independence.
• Manage manpower in production areas and operate various automatic machines.
• Perform complex electrical tasks as part of assembly.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new hires and existing operators.
• Act as line trainer and ensure adherence to Work Instructions and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Planning to resolve issues.
• Support process and manufacturing improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help with labeling, packing and palletizing of parts and materials.
• Handle loading/unloading and lifting of parts/equipment.
