Job summary

ASM is seeking a Senior Specialist, Manufacturing Operations in Singapore to provide leadership across multiple production shifts and guide a team of Shift Supervisors. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering required with strong technical foundation.
• Minimum 8 years in a technical environment such as capital equipment, aviation, or manufacturing.
• 8+ years of supervisory experience managing a skilled technician workforce.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven Lean/Kaizen or continuous improvement project experience.
• Experience with resource planning and KPI management (Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, Productivity, Cycle Time, Cost).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Shift Supervisors to deliver safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Provide operational leadership across multiple shifts and ensure consistent execution.
• Drive performance management through reviews, coaching, and leadership development.
• Oversee production planning and resource allocation to meet production commitments.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Facilities to improve performance.
• Establish manufacturing disciplines, standard work, escalation processes, and controls.
• Develop workforce capability, succession planning, cross-training, and readiness for growth.
• Oversee recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement within production.
• Ensure safety, quality, regulatory, and company requirements and promote operational excellence.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S, visual management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
