Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support operations and drive improvements in productivity, equipment reliability, quality and process efficiency. You will work with Production, Maintenance, Quality and HSE teams to enhance manufacturing performance, lead Lean initiatives, and support New Product Development.

This one-year contract starts ASAP, with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, at Boon Lay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production or process engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or FMCG environments preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and TPM.
• Experience with equipment troubleshooting, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating or leading manufacturing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing processes and support production targets.
• Provide technical support for production and maintenance activities.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma, TPM, AM and PM initiatives.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to address downtime and production losses.
• Identify and implement process and productivity improvements.
• Analyse operational data and identify areas for improvement.
• Support engineering projects and New Product Development (NPD).
• Coordinate technical training and competency development.
• Lead daily production meetings and follow up on operational issues.
• Ensure proper process documentation and reporting.
• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain safety and quality standards.
