Job summary

Emerson Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead new production introductions, resolve manufacturing issues, and drive yield and process improvements while ensuring safety and quality compliance in a collaborative environment.

This role emphasizes cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and digital transformation across assembly and equipment processes. Relevant Lean/Six Sigma training and Industry 4.0 awareness are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 3 years of manufacturing, process engineering, or production experience.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and participates in process development, optimization, training, qualification, and validation for new products or tech transfers.
• Leads in yield improvement and root-cause analysis to resolve manufacturing issues and reduce scrap.
• Improves efficiency through workflow, space, equipment layout optimization, cost reduction, and digital transformation.
• Manages new equipment setup and equipment improvements.
• Generates process equipment specifications ensuring designs support mass production and safety.
• Develops and maintains manufacturing procedures and related docs (RA, LOTO, SWP, ESR).
• Creates and maintains BOM structure, product attributes, and routing.
