Job summary

PerkinElmer Scientific (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production activities and drive lean manufacturing improvements.

You will focus on quality, cost, and schedule while developing teams and ensuring efficient material management. The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering with at least 4 years of supervisory manufacturing experience; a Bachelor's degree and SAP/ERP/MRP familiarity are plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering from a reputable institution.
• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-department coordination to ensure on-time delivery to customers
• Plan and execute lean manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance in-process quality and RTY
• Design and deliver on-the-job training programs for technicians to increase manufacturing flexibility
• Manage cycle counts and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) controls to maintain accurate material inventory levels
• Organize and lead 5S/Continuous Improvement activities and committee efforts within assigned areas
• Implement safety and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) activities to improve site Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) systems
• Enforce line discipline and minimize production losses
• Manage production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and material supply
• Plan and administer production procedures, budgets, manpower requirements, and capital expenditures
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient function operation
• Execute additional projects or tasks as assigned by management
