Job summary

PERKINELMER SCIENTIFIC (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior engineering leader to identify and drive strategic plans for productivity, quality and cost improvements.

You will oversee site engineering activities, contribute to NPI and design transfers, and manage major projects on site to deliver within timeline and budget. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, 15+ years in manufacturing/production engineering, and proven leadership in an MNC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• 15+ years in manufacturing/production engineering.
• 5+ years leading a team in an MNC environment.
• Experience in NPI design transfer.
• Project management with NPI project leadership.
• Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt with SPC and DFx experience.
• Knowledge of analytical instruments for productivity, quality, cost and performance.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of routing hours, BOM and SAP.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical, engineering and management capabilities.
• Good leadership, training, facilitation and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and propose site engineering projects to improve productivity and cost.
• Initiate projects to enhance operational capabilities to meet business needs and raise efficiency.
• Lead material localization projects for quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address engineering issues and drive projects.
• Guide project leaders to deliver NPI and product transfers on time and within budget.
• Support continuous yield improvement and shopfloor productivity.
