Job summary

IMDA is seeking a senior, strategic business development professional to nurture Singapore-based digital technology startups within the Accreditation and Spark programmes. You will work with senior executives to onboard companies, conduct due diligence and help scale growth through market opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in business development, marketing and communications, industry development, and channel development.
• Ability to co-create compelling narratives to showcase impact, value proposition and achievements.
• Strong knowledge of digital and physical marketing channels to reach industry players.
• Experience interacting with CXOs of ICT start-ups and young companies.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships with portfolio companies, engaging founders, CXOs and senior executives to understand growth priorities and market opportunities.
• Develop and drive value creation initiatives with portfolio companies, including go-to-market strategies and partnerships.
• Identify market opportunities from enterprises and government partners, translating into opportunities for the Accreditation and Spark programmes.
• Create compelling market propositions and narratives that articulate programme value across campaigns, presentations and events.
• Plan and execute market activation initiatives, industry campaigns, buyer engagements and networking sessions.
• Support opportunity development and presales activities, including buyer discovery and use-case development.
• Facilitate engagements between buyers and portfolio companies to align requirements and potential partnerships.
